CBSE Board Class 10th & 12th Result 2020 Updates: Evaluation Process to Resume From Tomorrow

The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE is likely to resume the evaluation process of CBSE Class 10th and 12th Exam 2020 Answer Sheets from tomorrow, May 10, 2020. The MHRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' has recently announced to resume the evaluation process of the Board answer sheets. 


Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has issued a video message through his twitter handle stating to resume the evaluation process of about 1.5 crore answer sheets of CBSE Board Class 10th and 12th Exam 2020. Minister said that the examination for 173 subjects have already been held and their evaluation will be commenced from Sunday, May 10.

MHRD Minister said that all the answer sheets will be sent to the examiner house for evaluation and the permission for the same has been granted by the Home Ministry.

Earlier the Board had assigned 3000 evaluation centres for the copy checking process. These copies will be sent to the examiner's house from these 3000 evaluation centres. Examiners have to evaluate these copies from home and the evaluation process would be completed within 50 days, MHRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal added to his statement.

Ramesh Pokhriyal also said that the result for class 10th & 12th will be announced soon after the evaluation process and the completion of remaining exams.

According to media reports, earlier the Board was planning to resume the evaluation process only in the green zone areas with due care by following social distancing norms and proper hygiene to avoid community transmission of COVID-19.


The Central School of Secondary Education (CBSE) high school and intermediate examinations was commenced by the Board on February 15, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Class 10th and 12th examination which were scheduled to be conducted from March 19 to March 31, 2020, were postponed.

The remaining Board exams for CBSE Class X and XII will be held in July. The remaining 10th and 12th-grade exams of CBSE will be held between July 1 and July 15. The datesheet for the remaining exams will be released soon by the CBSE Board.

UP Board Result 2020 Expected in June Month

The result for the UP Board 2020 exam is likely to be declared in the month of June 2020, by the Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education.  According to various media reports, Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma said that the UP Board result will be declared in June.
